How to play 5P Card Game.

Objective of the Game:

To inspire meaningful conversation that will change lives and impact the world. We thrive to unlock the leadership potential within you!

To get the most out of the game, it is important for a player or group of players to set a given objective at the beginning of the game play. This can be any topic of your choosing.

For example, some suggested topics might include being a better leader, becoming successful, losing weight, resolving depression and/or anxiety, achieving financial freedom, enjoying wellness, improving productivity, or resolving drug/alcohol abuse. As you play the game, use its content to guide your conversations and explore how these objectives can be achieved.

Winning:

To win the game, one player must hold five cards of the five different categories of colors. In a situation where 2 or more players have the five cards as stated above, then the player with the lowest possible combined number on their five cards is declared the winner.

Set Up:

Whoever is assigned as the dealer will begin by shuffling and presenting each player with five cards. Additionally, one card is placed face-up on the table as the starting card.

This card also begins a discard pile.

The dealer then places the remainder of the cards on the table face-down, forming a draw pile.

Let’s Play!

1. Play begins in a clockwise pattern.

2. On your turn, discard one card face-up onto the Discard pile and pick a card from the Draw pile.

3. There is no need to match the card you put on the Discard pile color for color.

4. Discard a card that would either not help you achieve five cards of the five different categories of colors or the card with the higher number.

5. With the card you are discarding, you must engage the player who is next in turn to play with a question.

6. Using the word or phrase on that card, add a question remark to the word or phrase such as HOW, WHY, or WHAT would help their success or improve their leadership character.

7. Broadly speaking, you should think of HOW the word or phrase on the card could help you achieve your purpose.

8. Give the player responding to the question 20 seconds to share their opinion.

9. If the player next in turn to play does not have anything to say, then that player loses their turn.

10. The question asked of the player is now open to the group as a conversational discussion. (1 min).

11. And the game continues in the clockwise pattern.

12. One player who believes they have achieved what it takes to win the game, can only declare themselves as winner on their turn to play.

13. The established winner can have all of the bragging rights or the imaginary trophy of legend of life. LOL

14. If no player can achieve what it takes to win the game by the time the Draw pile is emptied, simply re-shuffle the Discard pile and continue playing!
